If you’re looking for a perfectly curated life with white couches and silent mornings, you might be in the wrong place. But if you’re looking for a heart trying to find the sacred in the middle of a full-time career and the beautiful noise of three kids—you’ve found a friend.

I’m a daughter of the King, first and foremost. My faith is the anchor that keeps me steady when the "to-do" list feels a mile long. I’m also the wife of a talented tattoo artist (which means our life is a little bit more colorful and unpredictable than most!) and a mama to two energetic boys and one spirited baby

girl.

Between the 7-to-4 hustle and the 4-to-9 "second shift" at home, I’ve realized there never seems to be enough hours in the day. But I’ve decided to stop chasing the clock and start chasing the joy. This blog is where I share the encouragement I find in the every day—from the messy milestones of motherhood to the quiet moments of prayer before my feet hit the floor in the morning.

The Life Behind the Desk

If you walked into my office at the school, you’d likely find me mid-sentence, balancing a ringing phone, a student needing a band-aid, and tasks that seem to take longer to complete. As a school secretary, my days are a fast-paced mission field. I’m the gatekeeper, the multitasker, and—on the best days—a source of encouragement for the families and faculty who walk through our doors.

But when the school bell rings and the lights go out, my "other" full-time life begins.

I’m a woman saved by grace, navigating a life that is as colorful as the art my husband creates. Being the wife of a tattoo artist and a mama to three (two wild, wonderful boys and one sweet baby girl) means my home life is the perfect, noisy contrast to my structured office hours.

Between school events, my husband’s shop schedule, and the endless energy of three kids, "free time" is a concept I’m still trying to define. There truly never seem to be enough hours in the day to get it all done.

Why I Blog

I started this space because I realized that joy isn't something you find once the "to-do" list is finished—it’s something you find right in the thick of the mess. Whether I’m documenting:

• The humorous reality of being a "Boy Mom" (plus one girl!)

• Finding snippets of prayer in a busy school office

• Encouraging a creative spouse in a unique industry

• Or simply looking for the silver lining in a hectic Tuesday...

...my goal is to share the daily encouragements that keep me going. I believe that God meets us exactly where we are—even if where we are is behind a desk with a line of people out the door.
